I was born in Washington D.C. I grew up as an only child. I spent 10 years in the U.S. Air Force. I've been taking pictures all my life, I can't believe how many old photographs I have. I never realized that photography one day would save my life. About a year ago I was diagnosed as suffering from clinical depression and I probably had been depressed for years and just thought how I felt was normal, because for me it was. I was on my third marriage and that too was in trouble. I had a beautiful daughter who really was the only thing that kept me alive. I found myself depressed, lonely and financially struggling. A year earlier I had purchased a Nikon P500 for my wife as birthday present, I started pursing photography just as a way...
