This picture was taken one foggy October 2013 day at the Nisqually Wildlife Refuse in Lacey WA. It was crop and foggy morning, the reflection of the trees on the water make this a very beautiful peaceful fall morning. I hope this image captures what I experienced.
About Cassius Johnson
I was born in Washington D.C. I grew up as an only child. I spent 10 years in the U.S. Air Force. I've been taking pictures all my life, I can't believe how many old photographs I have. I never realized that photography one day would save my life. About a year ago I was diagnosed as suffering from clinical depression and I probably had been depressed for years and just thought how I felt was normal, because for me it was. I was on my third marriage and that too was in trouble. I had a beautiful daughter who really was the only thing that kept me alive. I found myself depressed, lonely and financially struggling. A year earlier I had purchased a Nikon P500 for my wife as birthday present, I started pursing photography just as a way...
