I came across this shot in Steilacoom WA on cold October day. I was struck by how this tree seemed to be trying to hold on to it's last leaves. When I drove by the next day all of the leaves were pretty much gone.
I was born in Washington D.C. I grew up as an only child. I spent 10 years in the U.S. Air Force. I've been taking pictures all my life, I can't believe how many old photographs I have. I never realized that photography one day would save my life.
